Harry in Paris

On 25th October, Harry Styles kicked off the European leg of his tour with a gig in Paris.
“Vous ĂȘtes toutes fabuleuse!” (You guys are fabulous!)
"In the times I've been roaming around, prancing around, you guys have always been so kind to me."
MUNA on touring with Harry:
“I love how everyone talks about him and how nice he is. He’s like a nymph or something. He seems like an angel from heaven. He should be our muse. Does he look into your soul or something? I’m crying now and I don’t know why. I’m excited for this now!” “We genuinely loved his album, before we knew we’d be touring with him. How ballsy is it to release a seven minute lead single? He’s a really great writer.”

Harry Styles at the BBC

Nick Grimshaw and Harry Styles have recorded a one-hour long show for the BBC. It will be presented at the beginning of November.
Here are some things they are going to talk about.
The Reason Behind Harry's Boot Choice Is More Than Just Style
Yes, he wears his changing mix of Gucci/Saint Laurent/Calvin Klein boots well, but as Harry confesses to Grimmy in a musical interlude they serve a much greater purpose than aesthetics. Telling the tale of one of his early years in One Direction, Harry found himself in a fan scrum when arriving in Paris. As security got him loose from eager hands, he realised that fans had taken the trainers from his feet. And that’s why he doesn’t wear them anymore…

Harry Proves He'd Be Great With Your Grandma
You might expect that Harry and Nick would head to some of Manchester’s most historical venues - or, let’s be honest, Selfridges - for the VT clips, but in fact they go left field and head to play bingo at a care home. It’s a cute scene where Harry’s debut album is billed as a prize, and the singer’s number-calling talent goes down a treat with the older ladies. They also try their hand at axe throwing - Harry in Raf Simons - but that really needs to be seen to be believed…
He Admits That Dunkirk Was As Hard As It Looked
Dunkirk was a realistic depiction of one of Britain’s biggest battles that didn’t hold back on the truth. For the actors it was a difficult, intense shooting schedule, that was even more true for first-time feature film star, Harry. “Why have I done this? This is so hard”, he admits thinking on the first day to Grimmy. While Harry always knew that he would need to shed his locks for the role - he wore a cap for the audition - his family were less sure and anticipated he’d just have a brief cameo waving away the soldiers from the port side.

His Future Plans Focus On Music
While admitting he is “definitely a bit of an attention seeker”, it’s the music side of his career that he’ll continue to focus on next. It’s getting back in the studio after his world tour ends in July he has his sight set on for now, but if the right role did come up he would be happy to step back into his acting shoes.
Harry: "I’d done a couple of writing sessions and they hadn’t gone so well. And I got into this hole of, ‘I don’t want to make music anymore.’ I had this massive block. Then I went into the room with three guys I’d never met before. You want to be honest when you’re writing. And it’s hard to sit in a room with people you’ve never met and be honest about when you’ve made mistake and stuff’s hurt you. When I felt comfortable with these guys straight away, I knew that’s who I wanted to make the album with.”
You Definitely Won't Expect The Throwback Facts He Shares
Harry's been honest about the eclectic music he grew listening to in the past, but he goes one step further by revealing the first song he ever remembers learning the words to. The track? A Shania Twain one, duh! However, the first time he realised that he wanted to step on stage and be a singer was while watching Sister Act 2 and in particular the little boy singing the "Oh Happy Days" solo. The first famous person he remembers meeting was Dragon's Den star Peter Jones on a family holiday.
Harry:   “The first person I was star struck by, I was on holiday with my friend in Portugal. I was 14 and on the next table was Peter Jones from Dragons’ Den and I lost it, I lost it. I asked him for an autograph and he wrote. He wrote, ‘Keep dreaming, work hard.’ Maybe I kept dreaming and worked hard.”
The Music Choices Are 100 Per Cent Pure Harry Edward Styles
Well, it is his show after all. With the majority of tracks being taken from his eponymous album - all of which he performs note perfect, and with a few new jaunty harmonies - they're also broken up with his favourite Fleetwood Mac track "The Chain" and a sweet, soft rendition of Little Big Town's "Girl Crush."

Harry & Niall at We Can Survive 2017

Harry Styles o performed at CBS Radio's We Can Survive 2017 at The Hollywood Bowl on                 October 21.
He had the crowd sing Happy Birthday to his mum, Anne.
"Today is my mother’s 50th birthday. She’s gonna kill me for telling you she’s 50 - today is her 27th birthday! Alright, she’s 50, she’s fine. . I would love if we could please sing Happy Birthday to her, if that’s ok with you. Her name is Anne, with an e. That doesn’t matter for singing Happy Birthday does it, there’s no change really, um, but if you would join me, is that ok with everyone? There’s a lot of, there’s a lot of guys in suits in the middle “I didn’t sign up for this”. One of them waved. That’s nice. “I did not sign up, I did not sign up for this, I did not sign up for this”. Would you mind, sir, singing Happy Birthday to my mother? She’s very nice. Sir? With the pocket thing? Mark. Mark. Who are you Mark. Today is my Mother’s Birthday."

Niall made a surprise appearance at the concert!

Before the gig, Harry revealed 'Kiwi" music video is coming soon.

Niall's album "Flicker" is out!

“It is written about one person. Most of it is. There’s obviously songs that are not particularly about anything, just scenarios I’ve made up in my head or situations I’ve seen among my friends. But yeah, for the most part it’s about that one person. I live most of my life out of the public eye. I try to keep as much of it shut as possible, because if you let it out, people start asking you loads of questions and it becomes uncomfortable. That’s why I wrote the album I did — because I’m not the greatest talker in terms of emotion. But I found that I’m good at writing it down on paper and putting it on the record. It’s still quite a hard thing to do but I found it better to do it that way.”

I was in the room the moment Niall learned that his album was #1 on iTunes minutes after release tonight. He was nervous and antsy until someone shouted “NUMBER ONE!” and he froze and squeaked “Number one?” …then he beamed and thrust his fist into the air. He was smiling so hard and was so flustered, he could barely keep speaking after that. It was such an incredible moment.

"Harry Styles" scares Niall on Ellen's show:

Niall on how touring is different as a solo artist:
“It’s a lot smaller entourage. I think there’s 16 of us. We had 160 crew on 1D and 30 or 40 trucks every day, everywhere we went. It was like a circus rolling into town.”
Niall on the reunion of 1D:  “It’s only been like two years or whatever so I’m not worried about it. I’m not rushing it and I’m not worried that it won’t happen.”

Liam's new song

This morning Liam released "Bedroom Floor".

‘Bedroom Floor’ is far sweeter than its predecessor, even though when it comes to the lyrics, it might be naughtier. Payne taps into the style of the moment, tropical pop, which has been utilized by some of the least likely candidates in the past year to score a hit (looking at you, Ed Sheeran), but he doesn’t push it too far. “Floor” isn’t sexy, it’s lovely. It’s not tropical, per se, it’s breezy. It’s everything forced upon major pop artists, only distilled in a manner Payne can actually pull off, which can’t necessarily be said for his last record. It might not be a club banger, but it’s uber-cool, and he makes it work.

"All I can tell you is they make me feel something incredibly human."

Louis' "Just Like You"

Louis Tomlinson just couldn’t hold it in any longer, so early on Wednesday morning (Oct. 11) he took to Twitter to let fans know that soon – real soon – they’ll be able to hear a new single titled “Just Like You.”

All the way back in July, Tomlinson told The BBC his strong feelings toward the track. One of the questions he was asked in a lengthy Q & A was what he had been writing about on his forthcoming album. “There’s one song I’m really attached to called ‘Just Like You,’ which is all about this view of celebrities that we’re impenetrable and almost not human, but fundamentally we all have the same problems.

“Heartbreak feels the same, loss feels the same, all these feelings are the same for all of us. Mine just took a load different to, maybe, Tom who works in the chippy from nine to five.” (Billboard)

 Just Like You
It’s the guy from the one band                                                                                                      Cigarette in my left hand
Whole world in my right hand
Twenty-five and it’s all planned
Night out and it’s ten grand
Headlines that I can’t stand

But you only get half of the story
The cash, the cars, and the glory
No sleep and we party ‘till morning
‘Cause nobody cares when you’re boring

I’m just like you
Even though my problems look nothing like yours do
Yeah I get sad too
And when I’m down I need somebody to talk to
Yeah, I feel the same way as you would do too
Same stress, same shit to go through
I’m just like you
If you only knew

If I had it my way, pub lunch every Sunday
Cheap beer and it’s okay
I wanna lay where she lays
I wanna stay in these days
Gonna smoke and it’s okay
But you only get half of the story
The cash, the cars, and the glory
Just like everyone else here before me
‘Cause nobody cares when you’re boring

I’m just like you
Even though my problems look nothing like yours do
Yeah I get sad too
And when I’m down I need somebody to talk to
Yeah, I feel the same way as you would do too
Same stress, same shit to go through
I’m just like you
If you only knew

Every heart breaks the same
Every tear leaves a stain
Can’t I just be the same?
Every heart breaks the same
Every tear leaves a stain
Let me be the same

Las Vegas Shooting

A gunman holed up in a hotel room high above the Las Vegas Strip fired down upon thousands of people attending a music festival Sunday night, in a brutal attack blamed for at least 58 deaths, police say. In the mass shooting and panic that ensued, some 515 people were injured.

The violence is now being called the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, and the tragic death toll seems likely to rise. Forty-nine victims were killed in the June 2016 mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando. (npr)
