Zayn Malik on One Direction
“Who knows? I’ve said it
before: Never say never. If I wanted to come back in 10, 15 years time, then
yeah, why not? I don’t know. If I didn’t want to [be in the band] then, I might
not. It just depends on how I’m feeling at that time.
We were basically going at,
like, 500 miles per hour. We did everything to an extreme in the band. [Now]
it’s not as full on, it’s not as extreme, it’s not as in-your-face. It’s at my
own pace. So this way, it feels 100 times more manageable. It’s just easier.
It’s a lot less work.
It’s kind of a
blur, but I’ve also had a bit of time to process it and take it in and
understand it for what it was and appreciate a lot of the things and
opportunities that we were given the chance to be able to do at that time. I
just look back at it as a positive thing with good memories.”
‘To be honest, I never really spoke to Harry
even when I was in the band. So I didn’t really expect that much of a
relationship with him.’ (US Weekly)

Harry for the BBC Radio One Live Lounge
Harry Styles has just
completed his first Live Lounge performance on Radio One today, and it was
swoon-worthy.
His performance marked the
23-year-old’s first Live Lounge as a solo act after he previously performed some
acoustic songs with his old band One Direction.
After being asked how he felt
about performing for the first time on his own, Harry said he didn’t feel like
he was alone due to having a band, but was wistful as he reminisced about the
2015 performance, saying: ‘It’s fun – and that [One Direction Live Lounge] was
fun as well. Live Lounge is fun.’
He’s a man
of few words, that Harry.
The former 1D member was making his solo
debut performing live on Radio One as he provided last-minute cover for The
Killers, who were originally due to perform a mix of new and old material at
midday, but could not make it to the UK due to Hurricane Irma.
Harry sang his new single Two Ghosts as well as Sign of the Times and a cover of
Fleetwood Mac classic The Chain.
‘I think its such an iconic
song,’ he said regarding his secret cover. ‘I’m a massive fan of them as a band
and the music. We tried it and we really loved it.’
DJ Clara Amfo asked Hazza if he thinks his mate Stevie Nicks will be happy with his cover of her 1977 hit.
‘We’ll find out,’ he answered
in his usual enigmatic fashion.
Harry insists that despite
the music being all about him now, he’s still a low maintenance pop star,
listing his frankly totally boring rider as having just ‘chewing gum, water and
some tea’.
Harry's gig for Nova's Red Room
Last Friday, Harry performed a secret gig for 15 people. He sang five songs.
He also gave an interview to Smallzy.

In between tracks Harry stopped and spoke to every single person in the
room. That’s not even the best part. During 'Kiwi’ he sprayed the entire
group with his water bottle.
“Thank you for all the support in Australia that I’ve had over the
years…and with this album. I love you very much… You’re all so wonderful, and I
hope that I will see you again on tour.”…You’re so nice to me and that’s
lovely. I appreciate it.“

Zayn's new song "Dusk Till Dawn"
Zayn Malik has been hailed a "king" by fans after releasing the hotly anticipated music video for his collaboration with SIA. Zayn dropped "Dusk Till Dawn" on Thursday after days of teasing on Twitter. Directed by Amazing Spider-Man's Mark Webb, the video follows Zayn as he attempts to deliver a suitcase and reunite with his lover, played by Girls actress Jemima Kirke.
“Dusk Till Dawn” is the fourth duet Malik has released as a single,
following Wrong with Kehlani, Still Got Time with PARTYNEXTDOOR and I Don't
Wanna Live Forever with Taylor Swift which won the Best Collaboration gong at
this year’s MTV VMAs.
Malik is currently gearing up to release his second album – a follow up to
2016’s number one record, “Mind of Mine.”
Speaking about album number two he told VMAN magazine: “I feel like my
songwriting definitely developed, just because I’ve been doing it so
much. I feel like the songs are a bit more organized, where I felt like,
before, that Mind of Mine was a brainstorm. This one is more thought out. I had
more time to process everything and go through it all.”(Evening Standard)
Recently, Zayn has been named GQ's Most Stylish Man Of The Year.
