Do you like 1D? Don't worry if you can't stand them. We can talk about fashion, sport, film, art, social issues, religion or politics. Strangely enough, all these topics might point at One Direction!

Miranda Hart introducing Louis:
“But I have heard
of One Direction. I love them, I do. I miss them. Do you miss 1D? Yes, there’s
one person up there, yes! During this man’s young life as part of one Direction
he has racked up numerous top ten singles and seven Brit Awards, and since
launching a solo career in 2016 his singles have reached number two and number
one. I might do a number two and number one with excitement. And he’s one
hundred percent of himself, here to sing his new song Miss You, will you please
welcome the utterly brilliant Louis Tomlinson.”
Louis will release his new single "Miss You" on Friday, December 1st. Then he will perform the song during The XFactor Finale on Saturday.

Louis wins!
Louis Tomlinson has just won his first award as a solo artist: "Best UK & Ireland Act" at the MTV EMAs.
Harry on the XFactor
Dermot O'Leary: "Last night was a proper epic night. It's like one of those "I was there" XFactor nights. Harry, which I thought was one of the best performances we've ever had on The XFactor, and this place was rocking. It was, every now and again, the studio turns into a concert venue and that happened last night."

Louis in Manchester
On 9th November, Louis Tomlinson appeared at Manchester Christmas Live concert. It was his first performance with a new band. Louis sang four tracks: "Just Like You", "Back To You", "Little Black Dress", and his next single "Miss You".
Louis: “MANCHESTER!
Ah it’s amazing to be back up north. Thank you very much for having me. Very
nice to be back in Manchester. Um, I’m knackered after that one, yeah yeah,
sorry I’ll just catch my breath. Um, guy’s, I just want to say a general thank
you to anyone and everyone who’s ever supported me, because obviously that’s
the reason I can get up and do this, so ah, I just want to say thank you to all
you people while I catch my breath and keep this going, so I’ll do that. I’ve
got a new song coming up. That’s the next one I’m gonna play. It’s the single
that should be coming out in about two weeks, something like that. Here it is. It’s called Miss You.”
Miss You
Is it my imagination?
Is it something that I’m taking?
All the smiles that I’m faking
Everything is great
Everything is fucking great
Is it something that I’m taking?
All the smiles that I’m faking
Everything is great
Everything is fucking great
Going out in the weekend
Staring at the stars or the ceiling
Hollywood friends got to see them
Such a good time
I believe it this time
Staring at the stars or the ceiling
Hollywood friends got to see them
Such a good time
I believe it this time
Tuesday night
Glazed-over eyes
Just one more pint or five
Does it even matter anyway?
Glazed-over eyes
Just one more pint or five
Does it even matter anyway?
We’re dancing on tables
Till I’m off my face
With all of my people
And it couldn’t get better than this
Till I’m off my face
With all of my people
And it couldn’t get better than this
We’re singing till last chorus
And it’s all out of tune
Should be laughing, but there’s something wrong
And it hits you when the lights go on
Shit, maybe I miss you
And it’s all out of tune
Should be laughing, but there’s something wrong
And it hits you when the lights go on
Shit, maybe I miss you
Just like that and I’m sober
I’m asking myself «Is it over?»
Maybe I was lying when I told you
Everything is great
Everything is fucking great
I’m asking myself «Is it over?»
Maybe I was lying when I told you
Everything is great
Everything is fucking great
And all of these thoughts and
feelings
Doesn’t matter if you don’t need them
I’ve been checking my phone all evening
Such a good time
I believe it this time
Doesn’t matter if you don’t need them
I’ve been checking my phone all evening
Such a good time
I believe it this time
Tuesday night

Now I’m asking my friends if I
should say I’m sorry
They say “Lad, give it time, there’s no need to worry”
I can’t even speak to you on the phone now
I can’t even be with you alone now
Oh how shit’s changing
We were in love
Now we’re strangers
When I feel it coming on I just throw that shit away
Get another two shots in
It doesn’t matter anyway

Video for "Kiwi"
Harry Styles has been praised for
recruiting children and puppies to star alongside him in the music video for
his latest single, Kiwi.
The former One Direction singer sent fans into
a frenzy after he was seen throwing himself into a cake fight with a bunch of
school children before unleashing puppies into the mix in the eagerly
anticipated video.
Many expected Styles’ to produce a raunchy
video for the song which sees him sing about being ‘driven crazy’ by a girl who
is ‘all over him’ and claims she is having his baby.
Harry announced that the song is a work of fiction. Speaking on BBC Radio
One he said: “It started out as a joke, now it’s one of my favourite songs.
It’s one of the first ones I wrote for the album, when I was getting out a lot
of energy. I hadn’t written in a long time and this is what came out of it.”
Harry bought cupcakes for the fans waiting in line for his show in Amsterdam tonight,

Harry in London on 30th October
The Eventim Apollo |
MUNA |
“Can we have the lights up for a second
please? The support that you have shown me through the years and since the
single came out, since the album came out, from the bottom of my heart, I have
been overwhelmed, so thank you so much. Thank you for coming tonight. Thank you
for everything that you have done for me. As I said earlier, I don’t get to do
this, and ah, thank you. I have had a wonderful time. Have you had a good time
so far? The last thing is that, I ah, I know (stops as the crowd starts to chant
Kiwi, Kiwi) You’re gonna have to be a little louder than that, but please, keep
going. (Crowd keeps chanting, Harry waits a full 30 seconds) I mean, who am I
to not do it? I’m gonna pretend for a second that we’re not gonna do it again.
Quick thing - ah, as some of you may have seen, I almost slipped. Um, it
appears there was an actual kiwi thrown on stage. And, ah, that was the
problem. There was a green slippery mush on the floor - oh, there’s another
one. This is - this could end up being a problem. If anyone else brought any
fruit to the show - anyone else bring fruit? - no? Shame on you! Ok. Are you
ready? (crowd ramps up the screaming) (Harry milks it some more) I am gonna mop
up this Kiwi, because I am going to slip. I can still slip , but that’s fine.
DO YOU WANT IT? “
At least a dozen people collapsed and had to be lifted out by security:
“On a serious note, I would like to say… it
takes a lot of courage to come to shows these days, and you have absolutely no
idea how much it means to me that you are here tonight. Thank you so much,
every single one of you. I am so proud to get to perform in front of such an
amazing group of people. Truly, I’m honoured to be in your presence. Thank you
so much. This is
‘Sign of the Times’.
Styles is doing a fine job of
reinventing himself as a credible young artist - a serious feat to achieve for
anyone with his level of fame - and it’s clear that he’s only just getting
started.
