WIMBLEDON 2016

Niall Horan enjoyed the 2016 Wimbledon Championships in July. This year was the 130th edition of the tennis tournament played on grass courts.

In the photo you can see Niall, Ben Winston and Michael McIntyre. Everybody knows that Ben Winston is the director and producer of video clips, but who is Michael McIntyre?

GLASTONBURY

In June, Niall attended Glastonbury Festival. Glastonbury is a five-day event that takes place every year at the end of June on a farm in the south-west of England. In addition to music, the festival hosts dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other arts.
Glastonbury is the largest festival in the world and is now attended by around 180,000 people. It started in 1970 when Michael Eavis decided to hold a music festival and about 1,500 people attended. Entry cost £1 and festival-goers received free milk.

Glastonbury is famous for its mud. On rainy days there are thousands of mud-covered people wearing wellingtons.

The best acts this year were Adele and Coldplay performing with Barry Gibb of Bee Gees.

Are there any festivals like that in Poland?
Have you ever been to a live concert?

The UK's EU referendum

A referendum - a vote in which everyone (or nearly everyone) of voting age can take part - was held on Thursday 23 June, to decide whether the UK should leave or remain in the European Union.
Leave won by 52% to 48%.

England  and Wales voted for Brexit.  Scotland and Northern Ireland both backed staying in the EU.

If you want to know what  the European Union is, what Brexit means, and what happens now, read here:

Niall Horan on Twitter:

Voting day ! Very important that if you have a vote , use it !

It's a sad day . The economic impact that this is going to have is definitely going to make those voters regret their decision

And I see farage is talkin crap and telling lies as per usual on telly . Let's see what he does now . He really is a terrible man

What does Brexit mean for 800,000 Poles in the UK?
Do you know any Polish families that have moved to the UK?
